Mark Chesnutt- Benefit The Veterans Concert
Mark Chesnutt will be performing at the Worthington Memorial Hall on August 11, 2019 for the Benefit the Vets Event. The doors will open at 2:00PM and Beau Timmerman and Matt Mcpherson will open at 2:30PM. Mark Chesnutt will take the stage at 4:00PM. Tickets are $40 and are sold at the Palace Saloon in Dyersville, City Hall in Worthington as well as online at: https://squareup.com/store/Benefit-The-Vets (processing fees apply for online purchases). City Hall provides Worthington Sportsmen Memberships applications. You now must physically get the application and mail to the Sportsmen's Club.
Fire Department Training with AirCare
The Worthington Volunteer Fire Department will be conducting training with AirCare Emergency Transport on August 26, 2019 (tentatively) at 7:00PM on the ball diamond. This event is open to the public!
Show & Shine Car Show- August 31, 2019
Come join us for for a car show hosted by the The Pushrods. Food will be available by the Worthington Fire Department and The Last Straw Bar & Grille. There will be door prizes for car and bike entries, registration starts at 9:00AM and the show is from 11AM-5PM. Cars, trucks, and bikes are welcome. DJ by Doug Langston from KDST and The Matt McPherson band will take the stage at 5:00PM in Veterans Square. This is a kid friendly event. St. Paul's Parish Picnic & Festival
August 18, 2019. Parade at 12:00PM (noon). Lunch stand and games from 12:45-5:00PM. Deep fried chicken by Far Fry, fries, coleslaw, home-made bread, assortment of homemade pies, cakes, bars, and cookies, milk and coffee served from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm. 2 piece dinner: $8.00; 4 piece dinner: $11.00; "to-go" dinners will be available as well as 8 piece boxes of chicken for $12.00 and a pound of fries for $4.00.
